Happy New Year 2019!

Gentleman Cthulhu news

Gentleman CthulhuEven though the latest comic posted over a week ago, it’s worth wishing everyone a Happy New Year again, especially because there’s some Gentleman Cthulhu and other Lovecraftian news today on Gentleman Cthulhu creator J. M. DeSantis’s website today. Namely, 2019 is going to be largely a Lovecraft-themed year, including Gentleman Cthulhu and even some new site art (such as the images seen on this site right now; and there’s more yet to be shown).

So check jmdesantis.com today and throughout 2019 for continued Lovecraftian project news and releases.

Cheers!

Happy Holidays: I’m Still Alive!

Happy Holidays, Gentleman Cthulhu fans!

(That is, of course, if any of you are still checking this site.)

And They Call it Mummy Love: A Gentleman Cthulhu Collection coverI’m sorry for the long absence, and if you’ve been checking my blog on jmdesantis.com or happen to be a member of my Patreon (and you’d be very informed in the latter case), you’ll know I had my reasons for taking a break.

That said, I plan to catch up entirely on this years’ comics (that is, Year 4; comic #157 through today’s #175), hopefully before the New Year. After that, I’m going to turn my attention to completing the Year 3 set (#105 – 156), and put out that collection (which will be appropriately renamed Gentleman Cthulhu: The Comics out of Time rather than Third Cheers a Charm).  Read more… ›

Gentleman Cthulhu Creator, J. M. DeSantis, on Patreon!

J. M. DeSantis on Patreonhttp://patreon.com/jmdesantis

Today is an exciting day for me, though (to be honest) it’s also a bit terrifying because today I’ve officially launched my new Patreon page!

For a long time now I’ve toyed with the idea of crowdfunding, drawn by its potential to help fund personal, independent projects. As it is, personal, independent projects have been a major part of my career as a writer and artist, yet I’ve never been certain if I could carry a campaign all on my own. But then, over a year ago, I became aware of Patreon. Read more… ›

Panel Podcasts from No Such Con

As promised, I’m sharing the podcasts of the artists and writers panels I was on during No Such Con this past weekend. I had a lot of fun at the show (which you can read about in Tuesday’s blog piece: jmdesantis.com/2017/02/no-such-con-2017-write-up/), and both panels were great to participate in. Thanks again to our moderator, author Thomm Quackenbush, for having me on them. Read more… ›

#48 – How Hard is it Really?

Interview with Sequential Tart

Just yesterday, Sequential Tart (sequentialtart.com) published an interview they did with me, J. M. DeSantis, creator of Gentleman Cthulhu. Given the interview mostly concerns my other comic creation, Chadhiyana, but there is a mention of Gentleman Cthulhu at the end. You can read the interview on sequentialtart.com/article.php?id=2822. Cheers!

Sign Up for the Mailing List

At the end of this month (or at the very latest, the beginning of next month), I will be starting up a mailing list. At this point, with Gentleman Cthulhu, my main comic series Chadhiyana (chadhiyana.com) and my weekly blog (jmdesantis.com), never mind any forthcoming publications and projects, it’s starting to become necessary to have a central means of keeping fans up-to-date. This monthly newsletter is going to be an attempt (and hopefully a successful one at that) at keeping all of my fans in the know on everything that is coming out from me. Read more… ›
