Important Upcoming Dates
Just a friendly reminder of some important dates coming up in the next month. First, if you haven’t joined the mailing list yet, there’s still time to do so before the first newsletter goes out (either tomorrow or Thursday, the 30th or the 1st, respectively). It’s (I hope) going to be a great way to keep on top of not only Gentleman Cthulhu, but release dates, developments and other such things related to me and my work (there’s a form to join the mailing list at the bottom of this post).
Also, the New York Comic Con is nearly upon us! Time flies, doesn’t it? Next Thursday through Sunday (October 8-11) the show will run at the Jacob K. Javitz Center in New York, NY, and I will be there. You’ll be able to find me for the fourth year in a row in the Small Press area, booth 1259 (same booth as last year). So if you’re going to the show, make sure you have an idea where my booth is before you hit the show floor. The place is a madhouse, and it’s difficult to navigate without a plan of attack.
Then, just three weeks after the con, on October 27th, Chadhiyana #2 is scheduled for release from Rosarium Publishing. Already the first issue has been getting good reviews (in fact, Sequential Tart just gave the comic a 10/10 review yesterday: sequentialtart.com/reports.php?ID=9663&issue=2015-09-28), and I’m hoping the second issue will be even more satisfying to both reviewers and fans alike.
Last of all, if you’ve never had the opportunity to get a commission from me at a show and wanted to, now is your chance, but you have to act fast. Last week I opened up commission requests for a limited time (in observation of the Baltimore Comic-Con which I was unable to attend for the first time in four years), and tomorrow, September 30th is the last day to put your request in! Just check last week’s post for my price guides, and e-mail me your request (this can be done through the Contact Page on jmdesantis.com).
Well, that’s all for this week. I’m all set for NYCC. Hopefully I’ll see some of you there. And, if you haven’t, be sure to join the mailing list.
